Forest Lake is a planned community located within the city of Brisbane, Queensland. Originally established in 1991, it was one of Brisbane’s first master planned communities.
It is a green, leafy and picturesque suburb, located 19 kilometres from the Brisbane CBD, and offers a convenient neighbourhood in the green, bush setting that is aligned to an active lifestyle or relaxed recreation. The suburb itself is well established and thriving, suitable for families wanting to get out and about.
The suburb is certainly suited towards family living, with large homes and yard sizes, along with plenty of walking paths and bike tracks spread through the area.
The suburb has three primary schools, along with two high schools. There are also a number of sporting facilities, parks and playgrounds, offering a welcome respite from the busy day to day of the city life. For this reason, Forest Lake is an active, outdoor community.
