Coronavirus (COVID-19) Tenant Update

Collins Gregory Real Estate, like most Australian businesses, is taking the risk of Coronavirus very seriously. Our priority is always the safety and well being of our tenants, team members and the community.

We are taking steps to prepare and respond, doing our bit to help contain the virus and keep the community safe. Now is an appropriate time to start talking about the potential impact of Coronavirus and how we are preparing for it.

We want to take a proactive approach, rather than causing unnecessary panic.

For us our approach is one of “business as usual”, however if this changes in the future and the virus impacts any of our team, tenants or trade providers, we will notify the relevant people.

GOVERNMENT ASSISTANCE – INCOME SUPPORT The Australian Government is providing financial assistance to Australians. This assistance is available in multiple forms. WE ARE TAKING SENSIBLE PRECAUTIONS

We are taking the advice from the Australian Government. All members of the community should practise good personal hygiene to protect against infection, including regularly hand your washing with soap and water, as well as appropriate cough etiquette.

The Collins Gregory team have been updated on precautions that are appropriate to help minimise risk to our tenants and our team.

THE POTENTIAL IMPACT

Like many businesses in Australia, there will likely be some impact upon our agency and how we deliver our services as a result of the Coronavirus.

We are mindful that some of our tenants may be particularly vulnerable due to existing or underlying medical conditions. We are taking all precautions to prevent the spread of Coronavirus, just as we do for all other forms of illness.

In the coming weeks, you may experience the following:

• Rescheduling of some planned routine inspections at your home.
• Reallocation of a visit between Aaron and/or Anita where one of us may be unwell or unable to attend.
• Changes or delays in the availability of tradespeople for repairs and maintenance.
